Depressing DrabblesPeople say I beat myself up too much.

They tell me I'm wonderful, that I have accomplished so much. It's not that I don't appreciate it.

I just don't believe it.

I mean, I believe they think I'm great, mostly, anyway. And I appreciate it. It's not that I don't want to hear it. But hearing it doesn't make me feel any better. Because the one person I want to hear it from has never said it.

Does anyone else feel like that? Tell me it's not just me. I love my friends to pieces, but after years of working just to impress one person, you get sick of everyone seeing what you've done but them.

Thanks! I'm thinking about adding abackground, it just seems kind of... IDK, empty. I'll probably procrastinate that though with how hectic my life is right now.
